The show also features a wooden boat building competition, maritime crafts, food, and music. the event is held along the beautiful georgetown waterfront and historic front street. all proceeds from the boat show are put towards the construction of the south carolina maritime museum in georgetown.. The georgetown wooden boat show features one of the nation's premier wooden boat exhibits, a wooden boatbuilding competition, children's model boatbuilding, boat raffles, maritime arts & crafts.
