Full Rigged Ship Sail Plan






A sail plan is a set of drawings, usually prepared by a naval architect which shows the various combinations of sail proposed for a sailing ship. alternatively, as a term of art, it refers to the way such vessels are rigged as discussed below .. The term ‘full-rigged-ship’ is a description of a specific sail plan in the age of sail. it doesn’t just mean a ship with all the sails it can carry. above is a photo of the amerigo vespucci, an italian full-rigged training ship of the marina militare ..
